After her second stroke Tammy could no longer work the two minimum wage jobs it took for her to pay her rent, so she was evicted. With nowhere else to turn she slept on couches when she could and occasionally in the park until she discovered the House of Bread and Peace. Every night more than 450 people in Evansville have no place to sleep.
What are the odds that you will go to bed hungry tonight?
It’s nearly impossible to keep your family fed when you’re living in a car. Each year more than 27,000 meals are prepared and eaten in the kitchen of the House of Bread and Peace.
Odds are 100%, that all of the proceeds from this raffle will allow us to continue our Mission, providing shelter and basic needs to homeless women and children. And this year your odds of winning are better than ever. Only 1500 tickets will be sold!

Raffle Rules and Regulations
The following rules and regulations apply to the 2022 Raffle.
1.The price per ticket is $50.00 (fifty dollars), payable by cash or check only. Checks should be made to the order of House of Bread and Peace and mailed to:

2. The prize structure will be as follows:
1st Prize $10,000
2nd Prize $5,000
3rd Prize $2,000
4th Prize $1,000
5th Prize $500
6th Prize $500
7th Prize $500
8th Prize $500
3. All entries must be received prior to November 5th, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
4. The maximum number of tickets that will be sold is 1,500. Ticket sales will cease when that number is reached, and any checks received following the cutoff will be returned to the sender.
5. All prizes are subject to, and the winners are fully responsible for, federal, state, and local income taxes. House of Bread and Peace has no responsibility for the payment of any taxes associated with the prize except for the responsibility to comply with the withholding regulations and requirements of the taxing authorities involved.
6. In the event that at least 900 raffle tickets have not been purchased by October 31st, 2022, The House of Bread and Peace Cash Raffle reserves the right to cancel the prize and conduct a 50/50 drawing for the Winners. The Winners in such an event, will receive the prorated value of the total received in the raffle less expenses, as of October 31st, 2022. The remaining proceeds will go to the House of Bread and Peace. The decision to proceed as a 50/50 drawing shall be made, and announced publicly, on November 5th, 2022.
7. The Cash Raffle committee reserves the right in the event that 1,200 tickets have not been sold by October 31st, 2022 to extend the project 30 days.
